Message	has a hatch release button on it. I do not remember exactly what year the key fobs are for tho. I may be wrong but I am guessing 94+ Nonetheless, with the addition of some McMaster Carr hatch struts (write up by Bernie) you would have a hatch that opens itself up after the button the fob is pressed.
